Large Animal Detour (May 26)

The detour below will be in effect from May 26 until the new educational buildings are open in 2016 for all clients of the Large Animal Hospital. For assistance, call the Large Animal Hospital at (979) 845-3541.

Entrance to the hospital will return to it's normal location off of Raymond Stotzer when the new educational buildings open in 2016.

From Highway 6

  1. Take the University Drive exit and proceed west on University Drive. The street becomes Raymond Stotzer Parkway and the college is on the right at the corner of Agronomy Road and Stotzer.
  2. Turn right on Agronomy Road. Continue until the Forest Science Laboratory and Parking Lot 71 are on your right.
  3. In less than 2/10’s of mile you will be turning left on to Turk Road. Continue past parking lots 36C and 36E.
  4. Turn Left on Sippel Road.
  5. The gated entrance to the hospital is on the right. Ensure that you make a wide turn in order to trip the sensor.

From Highway 21

  1. Take the Highway 47 exit at the Riverside Campus.
  2. Continue on Highway 47 until it intersects with Raymond Stotzer Parkway/Highway 60, turning left toward the main Texas A&M campus.
  3. Continue on Raymond Stotzer Parkway until you pass the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.
  4. Turn left on Agronomy Road. Continue until the Forest Science Laboratory and Parking Lot 71 are on your right.
  5. In less than 2/10’s of mile you will be turning left on to Turk Road. Continue past parking lots 36C and 36E.
  6. Turn left on Sippel Road.
