Who We Are
The Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH) includes the Small Animal Teaching Hospital and the Large Animal Teaching Hospital, both of which are dedicated to the total well-being and care of an animal throughout its lifetime. We work with great people, great clinicians, and great educators with a passion for animals and teaching others that allows us to provide total care for our patients and clients while helping to train the next generation of veterinarians at the only veterinary teaching hospital in the state of Texas.

Be aware the Small and Large Animal Teaching Hospitals are open 24/7/365. This makes scheduling around classes easy and convenient; however, students may be asked to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
