A Better Life
Our Diagnostic Imaging & Cancer Treatment Center at Texas A&M is a state-of-the-art facility with diagnostic and treatment capabilities never before possible in one location.
Fully equipped with digital radiography, fluoroscopy, numerous ultrasound technologies, tomotherapy, high-speed Computed Tomography (CT Scan), and the highest-powered Magnet Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit in the state of Texas, we perform nearly 10,000 imaging studies per year—each of which is evaluated by a radiologist.
Our team includes a full complement of seven senior clinical radiologists, making it one of the largest radiology sections in the country. As board-certified specialists of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR), they can offer the greatest expertise and latest techniques in diagnostic imaging.
They work closely with other services in the hospital to tailor each patient’s examination for the most accurate diagnosis possible. Our faculty also helps train veterinary residents, interns, and students on the clinic floor and in the classroom.
