A Better Life

Welcome to the Comparative Ophthalmology Service at Texas A&M! Our mission is to alleviate ocular discomfort and improve vision in companion animals by implementing new and innovative strategies in medical and surgical ophthalmology. We provide advanced diagnostics as well as routine, complex, and emergency medical and surgical care to animals with ocular disorders. With state-of-the-art equipment and clinically-based research, our team of faculty, residents, and technicians strive to provide the best eye care for our small, large and exotic animal patients. As part of a teaching hospital, we also play a key role in educating the next generation of veterinarians in Texas. Referral is encouraged, though not required.
