Our Equine Community Practice Service oversees the majority of
general medicine cases that present to the hospital including
annual preventive care, as well as problems related to the eyes,
teeth and skin. Our team regularly partners with our fellow
clinicians in the Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Dermatology, and
Internal Medicine Services to provide a team approach that we
believe it essential to provide the best possible care for your
The Equine Community Practice also serves as a facilitator
for our Dermatology Service. Our board-certified dermatologists
utilize our service to admit and help care for large animal

We are available for scheduled appointments Monday-Friday, and

Leslie Easterwood, DVM, MA
Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Easterwood received her BS from Texas A&M in 1990, her
MA in Animal Science from Texas A&M in 1993, and her DVM from
Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical
Sciences in 1995.
